SURRENDER LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
The SURRENDER Leadership Program exists for culturally diverse emerging leaders.
The goal: to help you transform in your life and leadership.
You will be empowered to raise the standard of your leadership, identify a clear vision for your life and community, and create powerful action steps to move towards achieving that vision.

Through the SURRENDER Leadership Program, you will:
Learn more about yourself, your leadership and calling
Partner with a coach whose focus is to listen to you, support you and encourage you
Discover more clarity about where God is at work and take practical steps to tackle things you struggle with
Connect with other young leaders, share stories and learn from each other
Grow in looking after yourself as you care for others
Gain valuable skills to lead and develop others
When you lead yourself well, you can lead others well.
WHO IS IT FOR?
We are seeking applicants who best fit the following:
Christian leaders willing to commit to a six month coaching program
Actively serving local community - in either voluntary, ministry or employed capacity
From a culturally diverse background
Aged 20-35 years
WHAT IS COACHING?
Christian leadership coaching is about asking big questions to draw out the wisdom and leading from the Holy Spirit that you may not realise are already in you. You’ll be given giving you space and support so you can:
Discern God’s call
Find encouragement
Be asked the right questions
Have time to think and reflect
And receive accountability for the goals you set
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
We’ll kick off with a 3 day intensive, where you will meet with other leaders and your coach, and make a plan for how you want to grow as a leader. You’ll learn how to make progress on your goals and help develop and disciple others through coaching.
Each month, you’ll join online gatherings with your cohort of leaders where you’ll grow together, share your learnings and build community.
And every second month, you’ll meet 1-1 with your coach to help you progress in your personal and leadership goals.
In Semester 2, you’ll take a deeper dive into training, increased access to coaching, and more face to face experiences.
Cost of registration is $400 per semester (non-accredited pathway). Ideally this is a mix of personal contribution and investment from your church, community or organisation. If you need support to fundraise towards your registration, we can help!

It can be accredited (optional!): Participants have the option to achieve an Undergraduate Certificate in Ministry upon completion of the SURRENDER Leadership Program.
This training pathway is provided in partnership with the Australian College of Ministries (ACOM). ACOM is a Member Institute of the Sydney College of Divinity – an Australian University College – who offer internationally recognised higher education awards.
Study with ACOM is Fee-Help approved through the Sydney College of Divinity for students who meet the Australian Government criteria. Visit www.studyassist.gov.au for details.

NOMINATE A LEADER
Please use this form to nominate a person for the Surrender Leadership Program. You can nominate yourself or someone else. You can nominate as many times as you like. Nominations close November 30th 2024.
What happens next?
Nominees will receive an email invitation to apply and a call from a member of the SLP team.
Nominees complete their online application.
Applicants will receive an interview with the SLP team.
Successful applicants will then begin with the SLP in January 2025.
