Introducing the 2024 Surrender Art Prize

Art and Justice have a long history and so it seemed that our Love Obligates Justice festival was the perfect opportunity to integrate the arts into the Surrender movement. The inaugural art prize has a prize of $500 to the winning artists as selected by our panel of judges. In addition, all finalists will have their work shown at Surrender 2024 AND will receive a ticket to the festival with their entry.

Entries will be accepted from artists working in all 2D and 3D visual mediums. Video and projection work will be accepted into the competition but to be presented at the Surrender Festival artists will need to provide their own monitors or projectors. Space is limited at the Festival venue, so monitors are preferred over projectors.

To enter, fill in the form below and upload enough .jpg images your work for consideration (or provide a link to an external hosting for video work).
